Charity: GNP Sports Community Football Club
Angel Business Communications Ltd, organisers of the MSP Channel Awards are active supporters of local community groups. Our chosen charity organisation for 2025 is GNP Sports Community football club, based in Coventry.
The club has been established since 1983 and now boasts 21 youth football teams, ranging from under 7’s to under 16’s. The club are also accredited as a Weetabix Wildcats Centre for Girls only football, which has led to the formation of 3 all girl teams for the 2024/2025 season. The club has over 250 junior players, which represents a doubling of participation in the last 4 years.
As a grassroots and community football club GNP Sports needs funding help for winter training venue hire, pitch hire. Social events for the children (awards, dinners, football tournaments) and football kit/equipment. The organisation is run by volunteers and rely on funding to help keep the cost of participation for the children free/minimal cost. GNP Sports are an inclusive club, meaning we try and encourage children of all backgrounds to be able to play football, if they wish to do so.
We are using the MSP Channel Awards gala evening to help raise funds for the football club. Please do give generously, so we can support the community club and allow them to continue the excellent work they do.

Each attendee is invited to make one voluntary donation. The minimum contribution is £20, with no upper limit for those who wish to give more.
