Following 50% company growth in 2018, PeaSoup has invested greatly in our infrastructure. Our datacentres have seen a complete IT overhaul based on market-leading Fujitsu hardware. This enabled the already performant servers to provide a super modern HCI environment.
What differentiates PeaSoup from other hyper-converged cloud providers?
In addition to the existing datacentres, to enhance the PeaSoup cloud offering the new cloud services are designed and deployed from/using liquid (immersed) cooling. This method of deployment provides an extra cloud resilience as the liquid cooling improves thermal (heat) exchange removing fluctuations or hot spots and allowing the hardware to operate in a more efficient state. Immersive technology condenses IT hardware, removes the risk of hardware failure from dust contamination minimalising at the same time the risk of overheating and electromagnetic interferences. Liquid cooling offers additional environmental benefits, require much less power to run but also creates a transferable heat source that can be used to heat and power a datacentre and surrounding buildings.
Apart from the environmental benefits, there are many advantages to our cloud infrastructure. Our hyper-converged SSD infrastructure supports applications and complex workloads demanding better performance and availability.
