Our Managed Services Team is a group of trained experts who will provide end-to-end support for our solutions. Our tailoring options enable customers to have an out-of-the-box or bespoke service, including comprehensive support for every aspect of their mobility solution. In addition, they can benefit from our feature-rich automated reporting capabilities and the management of third parties and manufacturers. Our services range from provisioning, installation and training through to complete end user support. We’re able to engage with and support our customers at any and all stages of the mobile enterprise lifecycle.
What was the driving force behind the project – what business or technology challenge needed to be addressed?
FUCHS is a global Group with German roots that has developed, produced and sold lubricants and related specialties for more than 85 years – for virtually all areas of application and sectors. With 58 companies and more than 5,000 employees worldwide, the FUCHS Group is the leading independent supplier of lubricants.
Fuchs Lubricant’s (UK) Plc were looking to source mobile hardware, with real-time reporting, for their team of Technical and Service Technicians, who provide onsite customer support. They were looking for a rugged device provider who also offered a range of managed services, including repairs management and a device management solution.
Renovotec, experts in enterprise mobility management (EMM), designed a package that was tailored to meet their specific needs.
How did the solution address the challenges and were there any particularly innovative aspects that made it stand out?
We provided a one-stop shop for every aspect of Fuchs enterprise mobility, including: -
■ Rugged mobile hardware from Zebra
■ An end-to-end EMM solution by the leading provider, Soti MobiControl, that enables Fuchs to remotely manage their mobile devices, applications, content and security
■ One place to query all issues reported and full end-to-end solution support
■ Regular communication, automated performance and statistical reports
What major challenges were faced during the project and how were they overcome?
Mobility management products are very powerful and feature-rich but Renovotec has an in-depth understanding of mobile solutions. We added value, saving Fuchs both time and money, by:
■ Designing the optimum enterprise mobility management configuration for the maturity of their mobile solution
■ Installing and configuring the software needed to implement the design
■ Providing enterprise mobility management as a service, allowing Fuchs to benefit from reduced set-up costs and rapid, ongoing support
■ Providing an EMM test environment
■ Renovotec carry out the upgrade of the EMM Server so that the customer has all the benefits of the latest release
